MemoRekall
MemoRekall is a free and open source webapp to explain and annotate a video. It was launched during the winter 2015-2016 with a new version in 2017. The main aim was to build a tool in order to explain the video-recordings of the performing arts. The videos are enhanced adding notes, documents or weblinks. The result is called a «capsule».
MemoRekall is an operational scholarly environment, used by researchers from multifarious humanities backgrounds. Far beyond the academic sphere and the performing arts, MemoRekall is used not only by artists, cultural institutions and publishers but also by school teachers from high school and college for digital and media literacy.
